Acrobatic Arts
Acrobatic Arts (Acro) is a progression system for teaching AcroDance. Through thoughtful progressions, teachers will introduce new skills as the dancer has trained his/her body for the skill and is ready for it. Emphasis on artistry and fluidity from skill to skill, and training on skills for the left and right sides of the body. Students are trained in levels, Primary - Level 6.

Performing Groups
Our audition-based Performing Groups aim to build up, nurture, and train dancers and musical theatre performers to achieve confidence, build relationships, and learn skills for all facets of life. We aim to instill and cultivate a love for the arts in each child that will continue outside our studio. Our groups receive many outreach opportunities allowing them to perform in the community and surrounding areas.
What are Performing Groups?
Performing Groups are for those that want more performance opportunities on stage and in the community. SOPA has two groups for our students to participate in, Musical Theatre Ensemble and Company. Both groups are auditioned-based, and each has specific requirements.

Why join a Performing Group?
Join a performing group to grow as a performer, develop better skills and technique, gain confidence, and learn to work in an ensemble group.

Where do Performing Groups perform?
Local events (festivals, parades, etc.) in the surrounding areas. Once per year, there is an opportunity for a larger-scale trip/event: NYC, Disney, etc.
